Full Time Lead Office Furniture Installer Needed

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience installing cubicles (work stations) and other office furniture
    • Need to be familiar with the multiple office furniture systems; Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, Knoll, Teknion, etc.
  • Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, preparing orders for delivery, installation of product and job site cleanup
  • Able to read and execute construction blueprints and CAD installation drawings
  • Able to work independently and delegate tasks to ensure the installation team is working as efficiently as possible
  • Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools used in commercial office furniture installations, moving, and reconfigurations
  • Able to problem solve on site and successfully work through issues in a calm and professional manner
  • Excellent customer service skills is a must and the ability to interact with the customer in a courteous manner
  • Adhere to company’s dress code


  • High school diploma, Associates degree or equivalent
  • Approximately 2-5 years of experience in the office furniture industry
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and able to drive a 24′ truck
  • Be able to pass a drug screen test and background check
  • Certified in running forklift
  • Experience managing people
  • Able to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing between 0 – 80 pounds
  • Have necessary tools to perform installations
