Full-Time Sales/Design Position Available – 3/25/14

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists walk-in customers with introduction and possible sales opportunities
  • Sell to customers from lead sources, call in and web prospecting
  • Answer telephones as needed
  • Design for your projects as well as support the design efforts of all in the office
  • Manage the used product showroom inventory
  • Establishes and maintains a standard price tagging system for inventory in showroom
  • Maintains inventory data base for used inventory on hand; updates the inventory count on company website
  • Assists sales reps with order entry, processing and fulfillment
  • Schedule as needed installation crews for projects, coordinates delivery schedules with customers
  • Maintains vendor library and current price catalogs
  • Responsible for helping with internet and social media marketing
  • Distribute direct email marketing newsletter
  • Processes accounts receivable and payable; reconciles bank accounts via QuickBooks
  • Processes purchase orders to vendors
  • Processes and files applicable reports as necessary
  • Performs other sales and administrative duties as assigned

 Experience/Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree preferred or a combination of education/equivalent experience
  • Design background preferred
  • 1-2 years general office experience (experience with contract office furniture is preferred)
  • Bookkeeping experience is helpful, QuickBooks
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Sketch up, etc.
  • Must be able to lift 0 – 40lbs as required
