As a company, Carolina Office Xchange is strongly committed to the three “R’s” of sustainability: reuse of equipment; recycling of materials and reduction of waste. By recycling and reusing office furniture, we are able to give our customers great prices, which we take pride in. Maintaining sustainable business practices as a company helps give us a competitive edge in today’s market. We are large advocates of recycling any scrap metal or non-usable office furniture components and parts the Eco-friendly way. Over time we accumulate a large amount of left of parts and pieces, that are either not used or passed along to us broken. This year alone, we have recycled 218,394 pounds of scrap metal – that makes 99 tons.
Our environment has a huge impact not only on us today but with future generations, we hope that in 2015 we can double those numbers!
This year we were honored to participate in Annual America Recycles Day on November 15th.
The only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products.
